New provisions on the legal status of foreign citizens and stateless persons adopted

The Resolution of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus No. 1030 of 9 July 2010 approves changes and additions to some Resolutions of the Council of Ministers on the legal status of foreign citizens and stateless persons. This resolusion introduces new Rules of stay for foreign citizens and stateless persons in Belarus, Regulations on the use of the migration card, as well as Regulations on the issuance of permits for permanent residence in Belarus to foreign citizens and stateless persons. The Resolution enters into force from 6 July 2010.
