New Regulations on assay supervision approved

Resolution of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus No 977 of 29 June 2010 has approved Regulations on performing state assay supervision in the territory of the Republic of Belarus. The Regulations provide that precious metals articles manufactured in or imported to the territory of the Republic of Belarus for realization are to be in conformity with established assay marks and presented to the Ministry of Finance for compulsory examination and hallmarking, except for those which, according to the Regulations, are exempted from these requirements.

The Resolution enters into force from its official publication.
