Belarus, China to develop sci-tech cooperation
MINSK, 29 July (BelTA) – The National Academy of Sciences of Belarus and the Chinese Association for Cooperation in Production, Education and Science have signed the agreement on partnership in power engineering, bio and nano-technologies, BelTA learned from Spokeswoman of the National Academy of Sciences. The agreement has been concluded during a recent visit of the Belarusian delegation to China.
According to the signed document, the Belarusian researchers will be able to prepare around a hundred projects. In turn, the Chinese side will seek potential partners for them. “The Chinese counterparts have proposed to set up the Chinese-Belarusian union for production and science,” Maria Zhitkova noted.
The Lykov Heat and Mass Transfer Institute of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus also has signed a cooperation agreement with Chinese partners. The Lykov Institute and its Chinese counterparts have already established cooperation in the power engineering industry. |
